This is a 1-year correspondence course at a Level 3 qualification on the National Qualifications Framework.
This course is for those who work in the fellmongery and pelthouse industry who want a better understanding of the material they are dealing with and the process stages involved in producing pickled pelts for export. The only qualifications required are reasonable reading/writing skills, plus a commitment to learn and some self-discipline for home study.
We release lecture notes each month for seven months. These are designed so people in fulltime jobs can still work at their own pace and complete a monthly assignment. In October you sit a written one hour examination.
