Congratulations to Bizhu Li who won the first prize in the 3-Minute Pitch Competition at NZIFST Christchurch Conference 2019. This is the first time the New Zealand Institute of Food Science and Technology has held this competition for student members who are given 3 minutes to present using only 1 PowerPoint slide, plus 2 minutes questions. Bizhu is a PhD student working on one of LASRA’s projects funded by MBIE, where she has produced most of the winning materials in LASRA’s research laboratory.
