A fishy find has the archives team at Marlborough Museum scratching their heads. A leather postcard, cut into the shape of a fish, was found during renovations to a house on Blenheim’s Lakings Rd. A New Zealand Post spokesperson said the stamp on the postcard was issued in 1909 and remained in use until 1926. All that is known of the find is that it was addressed to “Miss E.H. Wright, a passenger to London aboard SS Remuera”.
